The conference marks the closing stages of the Euromed Heritage II Project: Mediterranean Voices: Oral History and Cultural Practice in Mediterranean Cities.

Three days of academic panels, audio-visual presentations, exhibitions, film screenings, and workshop discussions to

  • Bring together the work of 14 project teams from around the region
  • Review the politics and practice of regional project implementation
  • Discuss the changing roles and spaces of the Mediterranean within the Barcelona Process
  • Consider the applications of the project in the areas of museums, education, urban tourism, and cultural policy and planning, and explore future directions for the project
